World of Darkness, and Vampire The Requiem…role playing game?

Does anyone have any expieriece with this, what does this roleplaying entail, and is it safe? I am interested in joining a group in my area and want to know more about it.
Anyone with expierience??

well it matters on what you think about the whole concept. the WoD is a RP of horror supernatural and the mystery of the world. as for safe? wll it is safe as long as its with you and your freinds. if you dont know these people then keep your gaurd up or dont bother at all. stick to a game where you can enjoy for yourself as well as your friends. im not really into the vamp scene but if you love the polotics then go for it. as for myself im more the werewolf fan. polotics as well as the concept of family really gets me into that game. but eaither way a great story line is a great story line and all that matters is that your haveing fun ^_^
