Plenty
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' Den of Shadows series, starting with In the Forests of the Night
Robin McKinley's Sunshine
Anne Rice's vampire books, staring with Interview with a Vampire
All of them are well written and the characters are well developed. They are all better than Twilight.
twilight
Anne Rice wrote one called "Interview With a Vampire" or something like that. The movie adaptation with Tom Cruise stunk, but the book was amazing!
The Bloodline books are worth the read. Nothing is better than Twilight though!
Definitely! LJ Smith's NightWorld series and Vampire Diaries. However, Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and Bram Stoker's Dracula are the best vampire novels I have read.
The Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan.
They were good
"They Thirst" by Robert R McCammon. *IF* you can find it.
I hear that the books by Ann Rice are pretty good.
my friend read a couple of her books and she seemed to like them.
And she loves Twilight too, so I would recommend Ann Rice.
Even though I've never read her books, but it's definitely on my list of books to read. :]
Hope I helped!
Of course there are! The Vampire Chronicles, by Anne Rice.
