ANYONE WANNA PLAY AN ADDICTING VAMPIRE GAME?

http://quiz.ravenblack.net/blood.pl?biter=Ryland+Shiver
copy and paste this link and become a spawn of me. The game is set up grid shaped and is actually very intriguing and addicting especially the roleplaying chat!

Vampires! A Dark Alleyway is an easy to play click-and-move game. It is set up in the format of a grid. When you make a character you move from one grid square to the other. The grid makes up the city streets, number from 1-100 and A-Z twice repeating.

Notice: You have a limited amount of AP (action points). Without gaining the appropriate powers it takes 30 minutes to regain one AP in order to move.

You move around the grid and bite humans, as well as other vampires. After you gain at least one level of thievery you can rob other vampires too.

There are vampire hunters around, however, and unless you gain the power of Perception you won’t know it until you are in a square with them. They will shoot you with a crossbow and then run to another square. You then have the option of leaving them alone or chasing them down. If you chase them down you will probably lose a good amount of blood, but hunters carry a lot of coins.

When you get coins it is best to deposit them into a bank for safekeeping. These coins are used to buy powers and items (such as scrolls, potions and weapons). Once you have enough coin (and in some cases blood) saved you can begin questing. Quests are available at guild locations.

How do you find your way around the city? I recommend downloading LIAM. It is easy to use and will guide you to the nearest bank, bar, or station. LIAM will not, however, show you guild locations. To find guild locations, visit A View In The Dark.

Notice: Guilds and shops have scheduled location changes. Plan your questing accordingly - it will take time to reach them.

Whats the name of this vampire movie?

I’m trying to find a vampire movie i saw years ago. it starts off with a group of vampire hunters going into a abandoned house in the middle of nowhere and killing a bunch of vampires with harpoon guns and dragging them out into the sun with a wench.

thanks for the help

Ok, I love Twilight. Not because I read it or anything, but because it made a definite imprint on the book market: Vampires. Every teen and young adult loves vampires now and therefore any smart writer who wants to eat and have a comfortable life will start writing a story.
Including me. (Last year, during the August of 08 the book shelves were PACKED. Twas muy ridiculous)
Now, I have a certain idea in mind that I shall not relay on this page due to mean people who like to steal ideas and my money. I just have one question:
What would make a good adversary in a vampire romance? I mean, i know about vampire hunters and vampire families, cuz for some reason, they all hate love. Its really weird. And its always 2 ppl from each side who fall in love. So ironic, right?
Anyways, another question I want to ask it: What do predict the ending date for this genre will be? I know vampire romances aren’t going to be hot forever, so I just want an approxiamte time maybe. So that when I finally finish my Magnus Opus (I was about to type Modus Operandi hehehe) with vampires and romances and hunters and families, it turns out nobody wants to read it cuz they all hate vampires. One prediction I have is that they will always be kinda popular, just not AS popular as they are now, and more popular than before twilight came along.

Care to share some of your wisdom with me?

In my story theres a man helping a woman on a treasure hunt. the woman falls in love and they share a few nights together, but he gets stolen away from her by a female vampire. When the human girl gives birth to the man’s children she sets them up to be vampire hunters in retaliation. They are twin boys. What would be a good name for the vampire hunters association?

Ok well the plot basically is, a girl, Lively sees these viales in the science lab, she is curious so she picks one up, the viale cracks and blood gets into her hand (since blood that was infected by vampires was in the viales). So Lively passes out and wakes up the next day. Since her parents are mega strict (well, at least her Dad is), they loose trust in her and thinks that she is hanging out with boys and stuff. So Lively goes to her Vampire Studies teacher Mr. Sumsgi and asks him if she is a vampire, and of course, she is. (Vampire Studies is a class being taught in the schools, since it is the future and vampires are a ‘danger’ to people so the teenagers in school have to be educated about it.) Mr. Sumsgi is a vampire as well, so he asks her to train with him and his ‘clan’ and leave her home. She refuses to do so, but, she trains with one of his clan members, Brandt, who is her age and in her school.) Lively, starts to have a crush on Brandt, even though he is awkward and lanky, she sees him as a man in her eyes, more then her player - football playing - popular jerk who she likes at first. Then there are alot of side plots, like Mr. Sumsgi is really Brandt and Harry’s father (there the boys in the clan), and there Mom is out there somewhere, hiding from vampire hunters, and his vampire step daughter (who’s Mom is also on the run) has a relationship with the youngest son (who is not related to her), who is 14 and there keeping it a secret, and other stuff probably.
I hate Twilight so I was just wondering if it is like Twilight.
Pssssh. Isn’t Twilight written by a 4 year old?
Oops sorry, it’s just that Twilight, or should I say, an excuse for literature sucks SO BAD that it sounds like it is.

Vampire Novel Title Ideas?

I have started a book called ‘Sway’. A girl called Mia Romanelli was born into the world, but part of her was missing something. There was a void. As she grew up to become a hater of the world, her style as an emo/grundge/scene girl, and problems at home with her parents, she meets someone that changes everything forever. Milo Braia. Not as such an Edward Cullen or a Stefan Salvatore, but just as beautiful. Milo romes the shadows as any other vampire story would usually begin, but his goal is to not be among humans…. but to eat them. Like I said, no Edward or Stefan. Then somethign happens, he meets her. Mia. Yet she looks just like Stella Voietta! Mia IS Stella. From 1547 Genoa, Italy. Stella was a vampire who was murdered, and never seen again. Milo wanted his revenge so he reeked havok on the people of different towns throughtout the many years.

thats kinda a summary of some parts. I can’t give ya all of it lolz.
but FYI, to anyone who says that it is like tha vampire diaries it is not, cuz i have vampire hunters and anyways Elena wasn’t Katherine lolz. But Mia isssss! XD

;)

can you help me with some other titles cuz i might not stick with ‘Sway’

Does this vampire story sound interesting?

Would you read a story like this and does it sound like any other vampire book?

Summary: the main characters are (girl) 18 and (boy) 19. Setting is college.

A vampire boy lives in the city’s sewers because his family is hiding from vampire hunters, he goes to a local city school. The girl just moved to town from California and is the typical Californian, except her father is a skilled vampire hunter and trainer. There are few vampire hunters in the world, but my novel doesn’t center around them; it centers on the budding relationship between the boy and girl and their individual struggle for who they are and what they want. The boy and girl have the same class and are partnered together. The girl’s father has taught her how to spot a vampire because it’s not obvious and they can go out in daylight without any side-effects. The girl is independent and rebels a lot, so she doesn’t have a problem befriending a vampire, because she doesn’t think they’re as bad as her father says they are, though she has never met one.

It starts out that she meets the boy at her new school and since he’s poor she doesn’t like him much because he always comes to school dirty, stinky, and with super oily hair. She lives a very posh life and wants nothing more than to party and live off her father’s money, and she wants to hang around other rich kids, or at least upper-middle class; that’s her goals in life. He wants to come out of hiding and live a normal life and he also wants to stop being hunted; that’s all he’s wished for.

She runs him over with her car one day and tries to make amends for all the time she and her rich friends degraded him in class, and she finds out he’s one of the homeless teens who lives in the sewers and tries to help him. She finds out he’s not as bad as she thought while he becomes jealous of her wealth and lifestyle, which is where his life’s goals change, and he becomes devious. She doesn’t realize he’s a vampire and he doesn’t know her father is a vampire hunter. She recognizes one of the characteristics of a vamp and figures out he’s one, but doesn’t tell him. She becomes attracted to him because of this information; he’s not in love with her, but he uses her to get what he wants. Granted, he’s not ugly, but not many people are attracted to dirty people, haha, and he’s very seductive because he needs to drink the blood of victims who wouldn’t otherwise trust him. But, he’s very attractive when he’s cleaned up.

The boy accidentally finds out that her father is a vampire hunter and begins to hate the girl and her family, and he’s shocked to realize that she already knew he was a vampire. He wants to kill her father before the father brings more vampire hunters to town and kills the boy’s family. The boy plans with his family (mother and child sister) and a nearby vampire coven to kill the vampire hunter. Also, he learns through the girl a lot of information about how hunters hunt vampires, so he helps prepare the other vampires. The girl is still in love with him, but she won’t help him kill her father, but she tries to stop her father from killing the boy. She puts her life in danger to stop the boy from being killed. In the end I’m thinking about having him kill her because his hate for humans has grown a lot since meeting her, much of it out of jealousy that she lives a free and prosperous life, while his rich family has to live like poor people in the city sewers, and he also wants to make the vampire race strong again because he begins to believe that they should regain their rightful place at the top of the food chain.

Since the boy’s little sister is 7, she’s unable to control her vampires urges at that young age and she ends up accidentally killing the girl’s little sister, who is about the same age, but no one finds this out; they think she was kidnapped and killed. This part happens before the boy and girl get to know each other, so no connection is made.
I meant to say that in my vampire world humans still think vampires are a myth. The girl’s family is rich because the father trains vampire hunters and he also anonymously writes conspiracy theory books regarding vampires and has a huge fan following. Vampires are not as strong as they used to be due to years of hunting, and that’s why they’ve gone into hiding. My vamp eventually wants make his race powerful again, that becomes his new goal. In the end, the girl will find out that she was naive with not listening to her father and that all vampires should be staked - no matter what.
@Brittney and U-know - I don’t know what you’re talking about. Do you have specific text to reference? They get to know about each other over the course of the book. Her father has taught her everything he knows about vampires. The reason she doesn’t recognize he’s a vampire right away is because she’s doesn’t take her father’s advice seriously and doesn’t think vampires are a threat, so she doesn’t feel the need to actively look for signs; the signs of a vampire aren’t obvious. I’m sorry they don’t sparkle, lol.

@Noell - Why don’t you just say "OMG! He’s a vampire. It’s Twilight, get your own ideas!" It’s not like he saves her from a car crash. In fact, he’s just as likely to die as she. Originality is what lies within the details of the plot, not the idea; there’s a difference and Meyers doesn’t own the idea of someone getting hit by a car…Oh, wait, bella doesn’t get hit by a car.

Human/vamp love is common in vamp romance novels. Sookie, Dark Lover, and many others. I like it.
Well, I’m glad I’ve never read the Darren Shane saga, lol. I could have had my vamp living in an alley, but I got the sewer idea after watching a news show about homeless people who live in the sewers of Las Vegas.

Well, boy meets girl isn’t anything new to novels. It’s in every romance novel I’ve ever read, and I read a lot of romance. Forbidden love like in Twilight is in most adult vamp romance novels, so Twilight wasn’t the first and won’t be the last, and I like forbidden love. You’ll ALWAYS find archetypes amongst novels of the same genre, and vampire/paranormal is no different, so I’m not surprised that you can pick out commonalities between my plot and those of other vampire novels, there are commonalities in every vampire novel on the market.

Interesting responses. I asked this question earlier telling them I wanted to write an ode to Twilight and was told this was nothing like Twilight, lol. I agree with them. I think some of the answers didn’t read the plot.

What do you think of my story idea?

A girl named Echo is a gothic vampire hunter who just killed a vampire in her final test. She is sent on a mission in the dangerous parts of town where she is robbed and hurt, since she refuses to hurt humans. A little boy finds her and takes Echo back home to be taken care of by his family. Echo meets a loving poor family and is treated warmly by everyone while she visits. She meets a boy, Ricky, the eldest son, and hangs out with him and Ricky’s siblings. Then Ricky offers to take her home. When they stop by for gas, they almost get robbed again, except that a swarm of bugs suddenly come out and eat the flesh and blood of the humans. Echo, freaked out, quickly destroys the evidence of bodies with some special acid and captures one of the bugs that had died. Ricky comes back and they leave. Echo asks to stop by her boyfriend, Jared’s house. She gives the bugs to Jared, the son of the leader of the vampire hunters, and leaves with Ricky to go back home. When she gets back in the car, Ricky and her have a long talk about dating people that they actually like, since he notices how Echo acts strangely when reffering to Jared, who she hasnt ever loved. She explains that love doesnt always matter and that sometime the right thing does, since she knows that everyone is happy because Jared and her are together. Echo ponders the conversation that night, very confused about her feelings, and the next day goes back to school as if nothing had happened. She discovers Ricky in two of her classes and hangs out with him for the remainder of the day. Over the next month, she breaks up with Jared and falls in love, gets together with Ricky. Two weeks later, Ricky misses school for a couple of days and then returns with a strange new attitude. Echo is suspicious for a week and then one day catches Ricky drinking someone’s blood. She’s startled that he’s a vampire and then without knowing it, runs into a vampire populated zone, where she is turned into a vampire. But it turns out that the vampys are the cause for the deadly bugs terrorizing the humans, so it becomes a bigger threat. When she wakes up, she and Ricky argue and then he helps her figure out a plan to kill the vampires who captured her so that she can escape. (im not going into detail of the fight). Then Ricky realizes that Echo is miserable as a vampy and offers to turn her back. She accepts and without knowing it, ends up killing Ricky, because to change a vampy back to a human, you need a vampy sacrifice. Echo cries and then Ricky’s sister Tess shows up. She says that she knows a way to bring Ricky back from the dead, but it will put her life in danger. She still accepts. (that’s where i wanna end it because i want a sequal)
There’s more of my stories on my website.

http://lumeniscent.weebly.com/index.html
Here’s my response to the dude who gave me the 1st answer. It’s the same thing that’s on my website:

A lot of people say that vampires are unoriginal. Well, technically, nothing in this world is original because in some way it has already been done. Vampires were not original when Stephenie Meyer wrote Twilight and they were not original when Bram Stocker wrote Dracula. I believe that as long as you have an original idea for anything, then you shouldn’t be called unoriginal. Everybody’s minds work differently and as authors, as long as we explore our imagination without stealing from others, then I think that we should be fine. So, if you are one of those people who think that vampires suck because of Twilight, then your criticism is accepted as well as your opinions, but keep in mind what I just told you about.
This isn’t just for vampire haters. It’s meant for every other hated thing out there. These are my opinions and I hope we can all agree to disagree.

Does this vampire story sound interesting?

Would you read a story like this and does it sound like any other vampire book? A couple of things: 1) At least read the whole thing before you respond. 2) You’re an obsessed Twilight fan if you think every vamp novel is a Twilight knock-off. 3) I’m not looking for menial similarities between what I’ve written and other novels. If you read a lot, as some claim, then you’ll know that every novel of the same genre carry the same archetypes, themes, and ideas. And 4) If you’re tired of vampire, then head to the bookstore and pick up a non-vampire book, because I don’t care what you’re tired of. Thanks for reading! - sorry this is so long.

I’m writing a vampire novel and need help!!!?

My novel is called vampex and it's about this teenage boy who's about 17 years old and he is forced by his parents to go to this extremely rich academy for vampires. The school holds many dark secrets within itself and he meets this girl named Keiko well that;s where i'm stuck at and can anyone tell me when you get transferred to a new school what happens first because I don't know. Do you go to your dorm room first or get your schedule and go to your classes? Also what kind of classes would vampires have if they go to an academy. Would they have the normal classes like we do when we go to school or would they have their own name for classes. Should I put vampire hunters in my story or not pleas give some feed back and feel free to critque if you like

Im not too sure who is into Anime like me but these are two of the badest vampire hunters in the game! Alucard (spell his name backwards) is only restricted by his human master as for Hunter D, he's half human half vampire but rumored to be a decendent of Dracula himself which makes him very powerful indeed.
Hmm I figured that most would vote hands down Alucard. Also We still don't know the extent to Paladin Alexander Anderson's power as well. Each battle ended in a stalemate and Im sure he could easily defeat Incognito as Alucard had to be released to unlimted Control Art Restriction. I think Anderson has yet to reveal his power as well.

What do you think of vampires?

Seriously.
I can't stand vampires and people who claim to be them. If there are real vampires, then there should be real vampire hunters. I don't have a beef with Mr. Tepes because I think we can all agree that impaling 20,000 people on stakes as a negotiating tactic is sufficiently awesome. What I have a problem with are these 14 year old losers who hang out at raves wearing prosthetic fangs, listening to obnoxious happy-hardcore dancing with giant platform shoes (courtesy of "Hot Topic," because all vampires shop at trendy clothing stores for their pre-packaged sub-culture needs). When they're not busy doing the dishes for their allowance, they're out doing evil things like smoking, staying up past curfew, or reading books on the occult at Barnes & Noble. They join little "sanguinarian" clubs and they change their names to something adequately evil like Raven, Ivy or Memnoch.

These are the same people who say they laugh during dramas when someone gets killed. We all know a person like this, they think they're morbid and mysterious because they force out a contrived chuckle during a death scene. Oooh, you laughed during a murder, you're so unique and evil. The fact that the number of members in these stupid clubs surge every time a new "Blade" movie comes out eludes them. Who has time for things like facts and responsibility when you're busy "feeding" yourself by having orgies that give you magical powers? Idiots.

Ska is banned. Nobody listens to ska.
That's pretty much it. Oh yeah, I was going to write about how I was going to take away women's right to vote, but that one is pretty obvious since nobody wants women to vote, except for women, and they don't count.

2,053,680 people will vote for me not realizing that I can't run for president until 2016.

In Search of a Vampire Film?

It was an old and obscure classic film, where this royal linage of vampire hunters covertly goes up against a royal linage of vampires. I remember that the daughter of the head of the vampire hunter clan, goes undercover, as a servent for the head vampire, which the vampire hunter clan was after, for many years. I also remember that the vampires in this film, had fangs that outrageously extended down to their chins. I also can't forget a really spooky and surreal scene, where this giant vampire bat is flying through some underground catacombs, in slow motion. It was one of those old movies that used to play on one of those Saturday afternoon creature feature shows, back in the '70's….

In what vampire movie did this happen?

in what vampire movie did some vampire hunters tie up an weak vampire and throw a rope with lots of knots on him so he wouldnt move and they threw lots of sand on the floor because a vampire can't move untill he unties all the knots on the net and counts all the sand on the floor. please help i think i know but im not sure……me and my friend have a bet going and if im right he will buy me the nintendo wii. please help.
