vampire info for my story?

Hiya! I’m writing a story about vampires! It’s not your average vampire boy meets human girl, they fall in love, and happily ever after! It’s about a girl who is chosen to be turned into a vampire and she has to go to a vampire school to learn how to control her powers and blood lust and stuff like that. I might put a bit of romance in there but it isn’t a vampire romance story.

So, could you give me some information on FANTASY vampires? Not real ones! I asked this question yesterday and got an answer about real vampires! I want info on immortal vampires! Anything you know please!
Nothing from Twilight please! I don’t want things like they sparkle in the sun. Thats a stupid idea. I dont like twilight! The only thing I likein twilight is JAcob black!

Thankyou! :D I put FANTASY vampires because there are some people that have to drink blood to survive and call themselves vampires, when I asked this question before they told me about them vampires ! :D

Okay, so the novel I’m typing is about a 14 year old girl named Tori Heart, and her 25 year old divorced mother, Kristy Heart, moving out of the peaceful country to the eerie town of Sylvester, Georgia. Tori’s mom works as a paranormal specialist. As in, she’s one of those people who has to know everything about the world. She likes to find out about myths, and legends. Like Bloody Mary, Candy man, Vampires, Ware wolfs, etc. Sylvester Georgia (in my novel) is the home land of vampires.
In Sylvester, the humans let vampires get away with everything, because they believe the stereo types about them sucking your blood and killing you. That’s why Sylvester (in my novel) is the most dangerous place to live, because of all the murders, rapes, and break-ins they have.
Tori, is also, the type who believes in the sucking your blood out part. So when she befriends a vampire boy, Blake Night, there are some issues. Blake explains to Tori that vampires are low mantes creatures, and some do not feed off of people. They’re just creatures who go through a series of stages. Stage 1- New Born; when you get bitten. Stage 2- Premature; when you’re vampire abilities are kicking in, and you get your fangs, speed, strength, blood lust, etc. & Stage 3- Vampire; when your a fully grown vampire, who cannot be killed.
But trouble starts to happen when Blake starts getting deeper in stage 2, and he experiences blood lust, and attacks Tori. Turning her into a Premature Vampire. Now, Tori has to met new vampires, and learn all about their culture, and she has to control herself around her mom. Uh Oh.

I need ideas! Please help.

I suddenly have this urge to write another story. Like any other fan-fiction some twilight fan writes about, a human girl falls in love with a vampire guy.

BUT the girl PROTECTS the vampire. She is quite powerful and is the only reason he is alive. He is going to be half human I think. Eventually she becomes ambushed by a group of "evil" vampires that are trying to find the boy because he is a wanted criminal in the vampire world. That makes her a vampire slayer kind of? Way later they fall in love. And the human has an imprint with the vampire boy, neither of them knows till they fall in love. And theres like this one evil guy head of all the evil vampires that relizes how powerful the main character is, like some sort of prophecy. At the end she transforms into a vampire. He wants to find her and the boy, kill him and turn her into a vampire for his uses to rule with power. Now these are only peices of the plot. Thats when you guys come into help me fit it all together.

How does the vmapire and the human girl meet?
What is this sort of evil group of vampires do or are called?
Where is the vampire world? What is it called?
Who is the main head evil vampire? What shall be his backround?
How is the human some sort of prophecy? Is she a reincarnation of some sort?
What is the half vampire boys crime? For being half human? For stealing something?
Does anyone have some sort of powers?
What is the main characters backround?
How do you kill the vampires?

Thanks sooo much you guys are the best?

Ok, first off, it is NOWHERE NEAR Twilight. Its, very very different to that so I dont want to hear that "Its just like Twilight" crap.
No its not.
I like twilight and stuff but hate when people start saying stuff like everything vampire is connected to that and if your not going to answer the question then dont answer this at all. Deal?

Alright my vampire story is about a girl who was a vampire hunter along with her family and then a vampire kills her family and turns her when she was tweleve. 4 years passed now she sixteen (they age alittle but they stop aging till they hit a certain age) shes a drifter and comes along a school that has vampires and people in seperate classes and she’s in the vampires class. And an old childhood friend that was a vampire hunter too hates her because she’s now a vampire and accepted it. But things start to happen and she starts getting close to one of the vampire boy in her class and the guy starts to get jealous but doesnt want to attempt that he still cares for her, but the messed up part is that he’s secretly turning into a vampire, but she knows that but doesnt tell him she know till somethings turn up and theres trouble.

So its basically a love trinagle with twist and turns, theres other things but I dont feel like writing it. I’ll writing in the extra detail thingy at the bottom if you guys have any questions.

And I still dont where I should make the story setting. Like, there at a school for both vampires and humans so somewhere isolated but not really. And I would like a state somewhere in the US where its cloudy but has a little bit of sunlight, but barely. Gray skies, stuff like that. Okay?

Thanks (=

NOT Twilight before you creech on about that.
I read them when I was about 12, so about five years ago or so.
On the cover of one of them, they vampy man is holding the woman.
I remember some bits of it, they were in a redneck sort of dusty place in america, she lived somewhere with her dying/ill mum?

They were brilliant books!
HELP!!
Not twilight.
Not vampire kisses.
Not silver kiss :( None of those either.

On the cover, cs it’s a kiddish kind of book, there is a girl being held floating up in the air by the vampire boy who has a cloak.

Does this vampire story sound interesting?

Would you read a story like this and does it sound like any other vampire book?

Summary: the main characters are (girl) 18 and (boy) 19. Setting is college.

A vampire boy lives in the city’s sewers because his family is hiding from vampire hunters, he goes to a local city school. The girl just moved to town from California and is the typical Californian, except her father is a skilled vampire hunter and trainer. There are few vampire hunters in the world, but my novel doesn’t center around them; it centers on the budding relationship between the boy and girl and their individual struggle for who they are and what they want. The boy and girl have the same class and are partnered together. The girl’s father has taught her how to spot a vampire because it’s not obvious and they can go out in daylight without any side-effects. The girl is independent and rebels a lot, so she doesn’t have a problem befriending a vampire, because she doesn’t think they’re as bad as her father says they are, though she has never met one.

It starts out that she meets the boy at her new school and since he’s poor she doesn’t like him much because he always comes to school dirty, stinky, and with super oily hair. She lives a very posh life and wants nothing more than to party and live off her father’s money, and she wants to hang around other rich kids, or at least upper-middle class; that’s her goals in life. He wants to come out of hiding and live a normal life and he also wants to stop being hunted; that’s all he’s wished for.

She runs him over with her car one day and tries to make amends for all the time she and her rich friends degraded him in class, and she finds out he’s one of the homeless teens who lives in the sewers and tries to help him. She finds out he’s not as bad as she thought while he becomes jealous of her wealth and lifestyle, which is where his life’s goals change, and he becomes devious. She doesn’t realize he’s a vampire and he doesn’t know her father is a vampire hunter. She recognizes one of the characteristics of a vamp and figures out he’s one, but doesn’t tell him. She becomes attracted to him because of this information; he’s not in love with her, but he uses her to get what he wants. Granted, he’s not ugly, but not many people are attracted to dirty people, haha, and he’s very seductive because he needs to drink the blood of victims who wouldn’t otherwise trust him. But, he’s very attractive when he’s cleaned up.

The boy accidentally finds out that her father is a vampire hunter and begins to hate the girl and her family, and he’s shocked to realize that she already knew he was a vampire. He wants to kill her father before the father brings more vampire hunters to town and kills the boy’s family. The boy plans with his family (mother and child sister) and a nearby vampire coven to kill the vampire hunter. Also, he learns through the girl a lot of information about how hunters hunt vampires, so he helps prepare the other vampires. The girl is still in love with him, but she won’t help him kill her father, but she tries to stop her father from killing the boy. She puts her life in danger to stop the boy from being killed. In the end I’m thinking about having him kill her because his hate for humans has grown a lot since meeting her, much of it out of jealousy that she lives a free and prosperous life, while his rich family has to live like poor people in the city sewers, and he also wants to make the vampire race strong again because he begins to believe that they should regain their rightful place at the top of the food chain.

Since the boy’s little sister is 7, she’s unable to control her vampires urges at that young age and she ends up accidentally killing the girl’s little sister, who is about the same age, but no one finds this out; they think she was kidnapped and killed. This part happens before the boy and girl get to know each other, so no connection is made.
I meant to say that in my vampire world humans still think vampires are a myth. The girl’s family is rich because the father trains vampire hunters and he also anonymously writes conspiracy theory books regarding vampires and has a huge fan following. Vampires are not as strong as they used to be due to years of hunting, and that’s why they’ve gone into hiding. My vamp eventually wants make his race powerful again, that becomes his new goal. In the end, the girl will find out that she was naive with not listening to her father and that all vampires should be staked - no matter what.
@Brittney and U-know - I don’t know what you’re talking about. Do you have specific text to reference? They get to know about each other over the course of the book. Her father has taught her everything he knows about vampires. The reason she doesn’t recognize he’s a vampire right away is because she’s doesn’t take her father’s advice seriously and doesn’t think vampires are a threat, so she doesn’t feel the need to actively look for signs; the signs of a vampire aren’t obvious. I’m sorry they don’t sparkle, lol.

@Noell - Why don’t you just say "OMG! He’s a vampire. It’s Twilight, get your own ideas!" It’s not like he saves her from a car crash. In fact, he’s just as likely to die as she. Originality is what lies within the details of the plot, not the idea; there’s a difference and Meyers doesn’t own the idea of someone getting hit by a car…Oh, wait, bella doesn’t get hit by a car.

Human/vamp love is common in vamp romance novels. Sookie, Dark Lover, and many others. I like it.
Well, I’m glad I’ve never read the Darren Shane saga, lol. I could have had my vamp living in an alley, but I got the sewer idea after watching a news show about homeless people who live in the sewers of Las Vegas.

Well, boy meets girl isn’t anything new to novels. It’s in every romance novel I’ve ever read, and I read a lot of romance. Forbidden love like in Twilight is in most adult vamp romance novels, so Twilight wasn’t the first and won’t be the last, and I like forbidden love. You’ll ALWAYS find archetypes amongst novels of the same genre, and vampire/paranormal is no different, so I’m not surprised that you can pick out commonalities between my plot and those of other vampire novels, there are commonalities in every vampire novel on the market.

Interesting responses. I asked this question earlier telling them I wanted to write an ode to Twilight and was told this was nothing like Twilight, lol. I agree with them. I think some of the answers didn’t read the plot.

Does this vampire story sound interesting?

Would you read a story like this and does it sound like any other vampire book? A couple of things: 1) At least read the whole thing before you respond. 2) You’re an obsessed Twilight fan if you think every vamp novel is a Twilight knock-off. 3) I’m not looking for menial similarities between what I’ve written and other novels. If you read a lot, as some claim, then you’ll know that every novel of the same genre carry the same archetypes, themes, and ideas. And 4) If you’re tired of vampire, then head to the bookstore and pick up a non-vampire book, because I don’t care what you’re tired of. Thanks for reading! - sorry this is so long.

really good gay vampire movie

It’s not porn.(kinda) It’s not sleazy. The story involves a really cute
guy, and he is reborn. Vampire finds him again in his next life, and vampire captures him. Before I believe the vampire ‘did it’ with another guy but he wasn’t in love with him. The vampire falls in love with the mortal boy(main character). A vampire hunter along with his companion goes, and tries to get the boy away from the vampire. Boy ends up falling in love with the vampire. The vampire hunter gets wounded, and you don’t see him for a long time, and the vampire stays with the mortal boy, never turns him into a vampire. Does this sound familiar to anyone? My friend told me about it she found it at a pond shop, and another girl told me about it too she saw it in Seattle. I’ve been trying to find it online but can’t find anything remotely similar to this story. It seems to be here in Washington I’ll be eternally grateful if someone knows the name of this movie, and could give me a link to it!!!!!

my novel is about a human girl and a vampire Boy ages 15 and 16 finding love in one anothers hearts. Now she has opened up the black hole in his chest and nothing can tear them apart. (sorry for the traditional vampire book thing i just like it like the ann rice and stephanie meyer books
-Brynna S.

It’s about this vampire boy living in a vampire community. He is half mortal…Umm…he is abused by his adopted father who killed his mortal mother. He decides to set out to find his real father who is supposedly living among mortals.

He loves his best friend Kaie but I dunno whether she should be asassinated by humans or not yet…haha

any thoughts? thanks!

The book begins when the main character, a girl, returns to the laundry mat to find her brother's stuffed koala, unfortunately she stumbles upon the mat's owner and a group of men beating up a kid about her age, who eventually ends up revealing he's a vampire. Eventually her brother and father get kidnapped by a vampire hunter, so she teams up with the vampire boy to find the hunter, even though her family has been released and Michael, the vampire, doesn't tell her cause he knows she wouldn't act as desperate as he needs her to be. Sound familiar to anyone?

I am writing a book about a mortal girl and a Vampire boy and the vampire boy's name has to be a name that is romantic and yet unique with an air of mystery. I was thinking about Julien or Emory because the name has to be a name that was used in the edwardian era. For my mortal girl i was thinking about Lilia but i want to see what else is out there.
