Movie Fans: Wolf or Vampire?

NOPE…unlike all the other teens out there i’m not talking about "Team Jacob" or "Team Edward"…
I’m talking about DRACULA ( Bela Lugosi) or WOLF-MAN (Lon Chaney Jr.)

Which movie or actor does you like better and explain why??
Also if you would like to add another movie.. go ahead :)

Thank you :)

For those under the age of ummmm… lets go with 35, would you like to see old vampire films like Christopher Lee as Dracula in the old Hammer Horror films or Lon Chaney Junior as the wolfman? The vampire and werewolf genre have such a rich history, do the old school films interest you at all?

Just asking, I love them (the Old School Horror Films) and the film "Twilight" put me to sleep.

Well, thank you all so much for your responces.
I want to host a television show on saturday or Friday nights on Fox television kind of like Elvira, and I would like your input. It would be called "Scream Queen Theater" and I really need to convince Rupert Murdoch it will be profitable. It will I think.

But now, lets put this question to a vote.

looking for classic horror silent movies?

i’ve just seen nosferatu from ‘22 and it’s an amazing movie. i haven’t seen all of metropolis from ‘25 but i was impressed with what i saw so far. i ordered phantom of the opera and the hunchback of notre dame with lon chaney. any other good titles from what i just listed? thanks.

Its long overdue! Boris Karloff (& later Bela Lugosi) played the monster. Bela Lugosi the only real person to play the original Dracula. Lon Chaney,Jr. played the Wolfman. Who would play those characters today? I think Jay Leno could play the Monster. Mr. T as Dracula (with a Mowhawk). Wolfman, probably a newcomer. What are your choices?

My favs were the originals, Boris Karloff as Frankenstein, Bela Lugosi as Dracula, and Lon Chaney as The Wolfman. Those were the days, they may seem corny now, but they scared the peadiddle out of me! So who were your favs as a kid?
When I was about 5+ yrs old, back in the early 60's when I watched these on tv. We had a Saturday afternoon matinee on tv, which always had the monster movies on.

I like Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Lon Chaney Sr.! Please list your favs and why they are! I love hearing from classic horror fans!

Where would I find classic horror movies?

Limiting the search to Springfield Illinois (internet ONLY if necessary), where would I find a store which sells classic monster movies, on D.V.D. The movies I seek include Bela Lugosi’s Dracula, Lon Chaney’s Wolfman, Claude Rains Invisible Man, and so on? Re-Mastered movies are okay, so long as movie not altered by extra music, special effects, etc. Any suggestions?
