I’m talking about DRACULA ( Bela Lugosi) or WOLF-MAN (Lon Chaney Jr.)
Which movie or actor does you like better and explain why??
Also if you would like to add another movie.. go ahead

I watched it and I was really, really disappointed. How is it that Dracula and Lestat didn’t make it in the list, but Edward Cullen did (I don’t hate Twilight, I just think Bela Lugosi and Tom Cruise should have made it as number 1 and 2). Seriously, they are classic vampires, and you’re going to just leave them out of the list? This just proves to you that E! sucks asshole and only cares about looks and popularity. Err . . . I’m so pissed!
I know it’s stupid that I’m getting mad over this. It’s just that I’ve been a huge vampire fan since I was a small child.
I want to discuss films that you may have seen that were either absolutely horrendous or a critical failure that may have not deserved such a reaction.
For instance- I saw Ed Wood’s "Glen or Glenda" which received overwhelming negative reaction. It has even been featured in several "worst films of all time" lists. It’s about a man named Glen (played by Ed Wood himself) who is a transvestite, and his struggle in society. I won’t lie- it was bad, but not the worst film ever. It was more or less a documentary with strange spots of symbolism where Bela Lugosi (actor who played the original Dracula) shouts odd statements.
"Pull the string! Pull the string!!"
But what about REALLY awful movies? I saw Zoom with Tim Allen awhile back. It was cliche’, poorly written, unfunny, completely mainstream, and kind of made me contemplate suicide. Even worse then Glen or Glenda.
Half of the time I’ll agree with the critics on films. The other half- not so much.
Plan 9 from Outer Space. I’ve seen about half of it. Another Ed Wood film- what a laugh.
Did you hear that they’re remaking it?

Is the carriage driver at the first that takes him to the castle Dracula himself. I don’t know because in the Bela Lugosi movie it looked like Lugosi was the driver, but in the one with Gary Oldman I think it was an armored thing. Is he supposed to be Dracula or night.

The Changes of Dracula
Dracula has been an icon in motion pictures for many years. People are fascinated by a myth, or a character of the imagination.
The three movies that we watched were all interesting in their own way, and all of them proved to have something different to offer to the
characterization of Dracula.
The first movie, starring Bela lugosi, didn’t elaborate too much on the actual legend of Dracula, or vlad the impaler, as he was known originally.
There were no special effects, and they couldn’t show him coming out of the coffin or biting anybody’s neck because of the Hayes Commission.
It was a black and white film with little to no music, and not scary, but at that time it was very scary and cutting edge to people.
The second movie, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, starring Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, and Anthony Hopkins a bit better. In this
movie there were more special effects and music, though Dracula wasn’t really portrayed as the nasty man he is supposed to be.
Dracula can now be seen rising from his coffin and biting necks.
The third movie, Van Helsing starring Hugh Jackman, Anna Valerious, and Richard Roxburg, was the most advanced and thrilling.
There were many special effects and Dracula is just like he is supposed to be, mean and nasty. In this movie, there were a lot of other
halloween legends, such as frakenstein and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Van Helsing was all computer and mainly made for entertianment,
not to stay totally true to the story of Dracula.
Overall, Dracula has remained a fascinating character in american horror stories, and will continue to fascinate the minds of Dracula fans for
years to come.
Siouxsie Sioux as Goth Queen?
not that the emo retards will know who I’m talking about…
one of their kind recently asked me "Who is Bela Lugosi"?
I INFORMED them as to Mr. Lugosi’s identity….Dracula and various roles he’d portrayed. I then asked them if they’d heard the song "Bela Lugosi’s Dead" by Bauhaus…..their reply…."Who’s Bauhaus"? ughhhhhhh……..I had to walk away….
Please folks respect your elders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bands of the past 10 years need not apply
Christian Death definitly gets a seat in the royal court. Archduke of Gloom?
Sisters Of Mercy? There is definitly an arguement to be made for their work in the genre.
Kaferman5 listen to In The Holy Hour by The Cure or..Strange Day, Drowning Man.

My father provides the transportation. We leave at 6 pm to get there by 8 pm. My friend & I discovered this remote cemetary during the summer. It has approx, 100 graves, some dating back to the 1800’s & 1900’s. Its on private property. A caretaker watches over it. We signed papers stating we would not descrate the grounds. He won’t be there as he said strange things have happened on a Friday the 13th in the past. As for Halloween, he never saw this one couple who stayed the night. Later, he discovered they were in a hospital undergoing an evaluation for their sanity. After that, who knows! We will take plenty of protection with us just in case! We have a CD on exercism, plus a CD of a Dracula impersonator who sounds exactly like Bela Lugosi telling everyone these two belong to him and other tidbits to excite those who dare mess with us! How should we approach this night? Keep an open mind and enjoy ourselves or convince ourselves what we hear (or see) is in our mind and not real?
Our friends think we are crazy! If we make it through the night and arrive home safely, we plan to have our hair dyed white to signify we saw a ghost or whatever and it scaried us to the point that our hair turned white from fright! Then, the next day (Thursday) we’ll dye our hair back to our original color. Good way to be popular at school, isn’t it?
