If I like the Harry Potter and Twilight Series…..what other series can you recommend?
Hi, I finally graduated from college this week and have time to READ for pleasure again!! I have already read all the Harry Potter, Incarnations of Immortality, Twilight, Lord of the Rings, Dresden Files, Anita Blake Vampire Hunter, and Eragon books. I LOVE this genre!!! Both Fantasy and Vampires!
Can anyone make reading recommendations of books that are similar that I would like. I really like series, but single books would be great too.
Also, are there any good web sites out there with reading lists or a utility that does a "if you like that book, then you might like this book"… Thanks!

I have read the Twilight and Harry Potter series and am in college now. Here are some other book series I have enjoyed.
"The Golden Compass" by Pullman
"Alanna" by Tamora Pierce
"Uglies" by Westerfeld
"The Amulet of Samarkand" by Stroud
"When Lightning Strikes" by Meg Cabot
I can’t recommend any new books. I’d been planning to recommend the "Eragon" series, but it seems you’ve read them. lol
You can always go to one of those online bookstores like amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com and type in something like one of the books above. Off to the side, it will give you a recommended reading list of similar books, or books by the same author. You don’t have to buy, obviously, but can browse and see what’s out there.
Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series is very good.
