try the sukie stackhouse books- awesome
You prefer modern vampires? Wow. Well, you’ll like:
Eigth grade bites
Sucks to be me
Some Nora Roberts novel.. I don’t remember the title…
Sukie Stackhouse books.
Those books where the protaganist is named Count Saint Germain.
I Am Legend (if zombie vampires is good enough for you) the book.
Try Anne Rice’s the Vampire Chronicles. Awesome books
Her book Interview with the Vampire, which is the first in the Chronicles, was made into an excellent move about 15 years ago.
House of Night series- PC and Kristin Cast
Night World series- LJ Smith
Vampire Diaries- LJ Smith
Vampire Chronicles- Anne Rice…I think
Chelsea Quinn Yarbro’s St. Germain novels. I think she’s very underrated.
J. Sheridan LeFanu’s classic novella Camille.
Count Alexei Tolstoy’s novella the Vrdolak — inspiration for the classic Mario Bava film Black Sabbath.
While I’m on the subject of movies look for Carl Dreyer’s Vampyr from 1932. It’s a loose adaptation of Camille that has to be one of the most brilliant movies ever made.
well this book isnt "vampirie" but it is soooooooooooo good the darkest powers,
uh house of night
vampire academy
Almost Human by Melanie Nowak
Dark Days by Jocyelynn Drake
and those sukie stackhouse books are very MATURE!
twilight is not a vampire book. vampires do not sparkle
