I’m almost done writing it, and even though I knew when I started that the market was over-flooded with vampire stuff, I wrote it because I was very passionate about it, even if it never got anywhere, but I would like it to have a future beyond dying lonely and unread on my computer. What do you think?

I need a funny vampire romance story. you know something that will get the audiences attention and not get pissed because its another vampire story and your all tired of hearing about vampire stories but please give me a break here. I’m writing a story about vampires and i need to think of different types of vampires
eg. i alredy hav 1 : Hardwick Vampires- they don’t like killing people so they try to kill as least amount as they can by only hunting on 31st october nd 29th february.

Ok, so i was hesitant on asking this question because i know that i will probably get ear bashed by a few people who will tell me the truth- that it’s been ‘over done’. I just finished writing my first story- and it does have similarities to other vampire stories because it’s a vampire story. Haha. I mean lets face it, everything has been done before.

So girl meets boy- girl hates boy- boy saves her- girl loves boy- boy is a vampire? Right?

Wrong…

My story is very twisted and the characters are to die for.
The hero often causes trouble and the villain always ends up helping people. It’s crazy- bizarre… I don’t want to give anything away about there character profiles or the story line… Just yet.

But i was reading on yahoo answers and a lot of people were saying that they are ’sick’ of vampire stories. So I was wondering what would you like to read about in a vampire story? What would you think is interesting?

I’m just curious if anyone will come up with anything I have written

I’m glad you mentioned shape shifters veggie. There are shape shifters and other mythical creatures in my story. It is based in another dimesion. I don’t want to give much away but my main character is kind of. Uh- kidnapped if that is what you would call it?

There are werewolfs in the second. And based in the real world…

Then the third is about a war. Which is very dramatic.

Okay okay, people will be saying Twilight, I know, but my favorite is the tv show Buffy the Vampire slayer. It was a stupid movie, but the TV show is AMAZING!!!! It’s just got the coolest characters (for example Spike). I think in general it is more well-done than any of the recent vampire stories.
