My four year anniversary is coming up and I wanted to get my girlfriend jewelry we could share. The thing is we are both a tad weird. We both like dragon flies, anything steam punk, or gothic like jewelry. So any Traditional stuff wouldn’t work. It can be anything really I just needs to be able to go together and come apart or be identical just one for male and another female…

Does anyone know of any other designers for gothic/steampunk jewelry?
I love the alchemy gothic line, but I have everything I want from it so far.

I’m 16 and my parents are forcing me to dress like my younger sister. It’s horrible. I usually wear short skirts with leggings underneath, black boots or converse shoes and band T-shirts. I have short blonde hair which I wear in plaits with headbands. My nails are painted black. I don’t see how it’s so bad. My sister (15) wears dresses, skirts, heels, etc. My parents always tell me that I should dress like my sister, act like my sister, have hair like my sister. They always tell me that girls are meant to have long hair and that my sister has beautiful hair. They don’t understand that i’m a different person.

This weekend there is a huge party at my aunt’s house and we are all going… It’s not a formal party so I don’t understand why my parents are forcing me to dress differently. My sister has been parading around the house all week announcing her outfit: Transparent floral mini-dress with a black slip underneath, transparent black stockings, tan heeled ankle boots, silver earrings, tan bag. Yes, I actually remember… It’s all i’ve been hearing for 5 days. My parents are making me wear: White lace mini-dress with gold heels, gold bag, some sort of jewellery, idk. And apparently they’re going to "do something" with my "horrible short hair". It’s not that short. It’s an inch shorter than shoulder length. I’m not even allowed to do my own make-up. My mother says she will make me up "nicely" and "without all that black eyeliner". Ugh. This is really stupid. They’re only dressing me up like this because there will be a lot of guys my age there (that’s why my sister has been planning her outfit so thoroughly) and they want me to appear normal. They say I don’t get out enough and always comment on the fact that with the way I present myself I will never get a boyfriend, never get married, live alone and become a "gothic freak". I’m not gothic. Far from it. They don’t know what they’re talking about… So anyway, i’m 16, should they be able to force me to dress like someone i’m not?

I can’t remember the name of the magazine for the life of me. It has celtic and magic stuff in it, such as jewelry and fairy statues. It also has pretty dresses and some gothic trenchcoats and other goth jewelry and clothing in it. I wanna say it has the word "collection" in the title, but I can’t remember. They send it in the mail like once a year and I know I’ve been to their website.

Uh hum I need some help here peoples! NOTICE: I am doing this entirely for me and no one else, I’m just asking for some advice.I am a sophomore in high school and frequently hang out with the ‘metal heads’ and sometimes the “goth” kids. I have always had a very outgoing and quirky personality and now I am beginning to think that it’s time for my clothing and style to match my personality. I am not talking full on gothic black on black all the time. I mean dread locking my pink hair, getting a piercing or two (or three) and as for clothes, adding little touches to my basics (aka: like studded jewellery and bullet belts and big stompy boots added on to the classic hip hugging low rise jeans and camis. Maybe even the odd black nail polish too… I am doing this because I want to, but I don’t know how to without being labeled a poseur. Please help!!

I’m going out this weekend, and I’ve got a black lacey puffy dress which stops a few inches above the knee. It’s very glamourous but also gothic at the same time, and I thought I’d try to bring out the goth idea with this look. I thought maybe white tights/long socks with black heels would look quite cool, but does anyone have any ideas? (Incl. Jewellery and hair and make up)
