Any Books For 13 Year Olds?
Hello, I am 13 and I am wondering if there are any books I would be interested in.
I love Harry Potter, The Chronicles Of Narnia, and The Lord of the rings.
I detest vampire love novels like twilight or any of those newer published books all about vampires in an attempt to copy twilight.
So Please give me suggestions!
I also Love The Princess Diaries, and Warriors Series.

try The Gemma Doyle Trilogy. the first book is called A Great and Terrible Beauty. it’s an amazing fantasy series, and i’d recommend it to anyone who likes the books that you listed above.
it’s set in the victorian age about a girl who gets sent off to boarding school in london after her mother dies. While at school she learns that she can enter a magical world called The Realms, and she has magic powers of her own too. In the Realms she learns about a mysterious alliance called The Order, that her dead mother was once a part of. and of course not all of the magic there is good, there is evil waiting for her.
it’s a really good series, there are 3 books. theres a little bit of romance, it’s suspenseful, it has mythical creatures, and tons of fantasy and magic.
The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot is a really good series.

ray bradbury stories
the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy
the catcher in the rye
the wizard’s first rule
shannara books
armageddon’s children (whole series, cant remember what the first one is called)
Im 13 too, well actually almost 14, but same thing. I read tons of books so I could list lots of excellent books for you, but that would take forever. My absolute 2 favorites though are: the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson and the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.
"The Prisoner of Zenda," by Anthony Hope, and its sequel, "Rupert of Hentzau," are great! They have action, adventure, romance, mystery. . . everything! Look in the Young Adult section of the library or bookstore. Happy reading!
I respect you as a Twilight hater! I hate Twilight! Ugh.. Try The Mortal Instruments. City of Bones is the first book. Their awesome!
Vampire Diaries (published b4 twilight btw)
Hunger Games & Cathing Fire -Book2-
Sweetblood -kind of a different view on vampires and stuff-
Cirque du Freak (12 books)
Night World(s) -series of three books w/ multiple stories and another coming soon-
The Secret Circle series
The Uglies series has to be one of my favorites. There are four books total. http://scottwesterfeld.com/books/uglies.htm
Michael Crichtons Jurrasic Park and The Lost World are amazing. Much better than the movies:D
The Redwall series by Brian Jacques http://www.redwall.org/
All i can think of for the moment:)
The Gallagher Girl series
How about the Artemis Fowl series? It’s really good, I think and keeps you interested with non-stop action and a solid plot, unlike Twilight.
Percy Jackson is good, too
Eragon’s a good read and decent series
The Wizard Heir
hope I helped
