I was thinking something totally different than twilight.
Like maybe the girls is a vampire. i dont know?

Okay well the other day, I had a dream that I was turning into a vampire but I was scared and didn’t want to, and I was running away from the monsters that were trying to turn me into one. They were is some sort of Black small limo. I read up the symptons of vampires on the net and I applied to many of them. For Example ;
My parents got divorced when i was small
Im mostly tired during the day and then when night fall comes im very hyper and energetic, and don’t go to bed until 12:30 ish.. (all the time )
Im a quick healer
I switch between social and antisocial very frequently
My six senses are very enhanced espically the sense of taste and hearing
Im not easily scared
Extremly quick reflexes
Sensitive to bright lights .. Eyes burn and get migrains and headaches
Out in the sun ( for not even a long time) makes me feel sick and skin feels itchy and tingly
My face is very pale
My bedroom is the coldest and darkest one in my house
Im constatly feeling cold
I can always sense right away when people are near me or staring at me
I can hear whispers across the room..even the most quietest ones
I have pale blue eyes with a dark black ring around the iris
There is a noticeably different color surrounding the pupil (grayish-blackish)
My dreams are often vivid and sometimes result in dejavu
My mood has an effect around others, especially cats and babies?
Oh and my blood has a metal taste to it.
And I’m very smart for my age, and always longe to learn new things

Im thirteen by the way, I was just curious that’s all Im not goth/emo or a twilight obsessed fan because what they make everyone think about vampires is Bull.
Am I or not?
And If I am what kind am I? I don’t crave for blood though?
No I haven’t watched New Moon..like I said Its bull

I’ve always thought (for like 8 years now) how scary of a concept filming yourself sleeping would be. I don’t really have any desire to see this, I would never ever in a million years set up a camera to film me sleep.

It’s just too weird and creepy to think about.

Has anyone for any odd reason every done this?

I’m trying to write a novel. It’s about vampires, but I’m not sure if it’s too similar to The Twilight Saga. My main character is a female vampire, and her boyfriend/husband/soul-mate is a mortal. They live with the female vampires family, and have a child together. The whole plot will be different from Twilight, but does this sound too similar?

well i cant remember the name but if you think you know it plz tell me the name.

the anime is about a boy i forgot his name,and when he takes off his glasses,he sees red lines everywhere and when he takes a knife or anything and slashes that line you instantly died.um a sorcerer gave him those glasses,and he killed a vampire lady i think by mistake.the kid ends up loving her and at the end of the series she dies (the vampire lady).

By cliche I mean pieces like the Mona Lisa, American Gothic, the Marilyn Monroe Andy Warhol picture. What other pieces are considered cliche?

So in the end of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the Count is killed and Mina’s scar on her forehead goes away. But I am confused as to if Mina stayed as a vampire or changed.

Also, I heard that there is a sequel to it that came out recently. If you have read it or know any information about it then please let me know.

and to clarify, the name "Vampyre" is not referring to actual vampires, it’s the name of a select group of individuals with special powers, nothing referring to needing blood or anything of the sort. just a name.
again, I am NOT referring to actual vampires. While I do appreciate a few of the answers, the majority of them are just insulting, and not trying to help whatsoever. Don’t waste time on idiotic comments like that if you’ve got nothing to offer.
A lot of comments talking about the overuse of the name "Vampire or Vampyre". Anybody have any ideas of a few decent names to replace it with? a name that would be good for a group of…I suppose I could say shamanistic individuals.

She wants to be some type of fairy princess or gothic fairy.

The only media where I’ve seen a vampire eat something other than blood is from the film Shadow of the Vampire. The count drinks whiskey with some of the humans and comments that he never tasted that in a long time.

Can they eat anything else besides blood? Do they choose not to?
